Ride for Rations (RfR) is a fundraising project that involves cycling from Melaka to Singapore over two days (a distance of about 245km). Participants raise funds which are used to purchase food rations that are distributed monthly to households living in HDB rental flats in Chai Chee, Marsiling and Hougang (since 2014). Since 2015, RfR has also provided monthly breakfast rations for school-going children in these estates. In 2020, RfR was expanded to support households in Bukit Merah, Depot Road, Geylang, Serangoon, Whampoa and Woodlands. As at end 2023, close to 580 households receive monthly food rations and about 200 school-going children receive breakfast rations on a daily basis.

RfR was first organised in 2011 with the assistance of Bike-Aid (Singapore), which then took over in 2012. This volunteer-run initiative collaborates closely with Sunlove Abode for Intellectually Infirmed Ltd, a registered charity, which procures the rations and identifies the households in need.
